Sometimes libraries have staffing shortages due to a staff resignation, planned vacation, or a leave of absence. The Manitowoc-Calumet Library System is working to create a pool of people who could be called to assist in a staffing shortage situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
People with library experience within the MCLS member libraries, who are willing to work at additional library locations on a substitute, fill-in, or temporary basis, are encouraged to complete the online signup form. Your information will be added to a database and shared with the library administrators who are looking for people to help out in a staffing shortage situation. MCLS will act as the fiscal agent, assigning and compensating substitutes as independent contractors. The hourly wage will be $13.00, to cover both wages and travel expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please note that completing the form does not guarantee you will be contacted or, if contacted, that you will be added to the substitute pool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
