MCLS Substitute Staffing Pool

Sometimes libraries have staffing shortages due to a staff resignation, planned vacation, or a leave of absence. The Manitowoc-Calumet Library System is working to create a pool of people who could be called to assist in a staffing shortage situation.
People with library experience within the MCLS member libraries, who are willing to work at additional library locations on a substitute, fill-in, or temporary basis, are encouraged to complete the online signup form. Your information will be added to a database and shared with the library administrators who are looking for people to help out in a staffing shortage situation. MCLS will act as the fiscal agent, assigning and compensating substitutes as independent contractors. The hourly wage will be $13.00, to cover both wages and travel expenses.
Please note that completing the form does not guarantee you will be contacted or, if contacted, that you will be added to the substitute pool.
